Adidas Originals has elevated the women’s-only adidas Falcon into an ultra-versatile blank slate, equally adept at taking on colorways both sporty and luxurious. Now, it’s surfaced in a bold rosé-esque makeup that combines both of those looks in equal measure.
The nude-colored mesh and suede base offers a sultry style, while the leather overlays and midsole — the same style that’s used on the adidas Yung 1 — nod to a favorite summertime alcoholic beverage with their soft pink hues. A signature holographic triangle also appears on the lateral forefoot. Meanwhile, the outsole offers a little extra flair with the introduction of dark burgundy detail on the front half and a soft periwinkle Torsion system that provides style and support in equal measures.
Two of the most vibrant and colorful iterations of the adidas Falcon have just surfaced which are sure to catch some attention this. The women’s-exclusive sneaker is first presented in a Core Black mesh upper along with orange and purple suede overlays on the toe, mudguard, and heel. Teal and yellow accents add more pops of color with a with a white midsole finishing things off. The second pair starts off with a light blue mesh upper with purple and pink suede overlays for to add to the feminine appeal. Yellow detailing on the heel, an orange tongue, green laces, and a white rubber midsole cap things off.
With over 70 years of archives, adidas are known for diving into their past to refresh and revive some iconic silhouettes, and the Falcon is no different.
